Emily Aronoff Teck is a Jewish Music educator and early childhood specialist. She believes wholeheartedly in the power of informal education and utilizes music as her tool of choice. Dedicated academically, spiritually, personally, professionally, and musically to Judaism, Miss Emily's mission is to educate and empower children and their families through music.
Emily has designed and implemented Jewish Music curriculum in JCC Preschools, Temple Religious schools, overnight and day camps, and has lead school, PJ Library, camp, synagogue and community celebrations throughout the country. Emily has presented national conferences for the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) and the New Central Agency for Jewish Education (NewCAJE). Emily works as a curricular consultant for the Rosenfeld Legacy Project at the University of Miami and was published in The Jewish Educator, a magazine published by NewCAJE. In 2010, Emily was awarded the prestigious Grinspoon Steinhardt-Award for excellence in Jewish Education, for her leadership in community-oriented singing celebrations, educator workshops and the development of specialized services designed to be socially, emotionally, spiritually and developmentally appropriate for young children and their families that have been implemented in Temples throughout Palm Beach county. Emily holds a degree in Jewish Studies and has been studying music for 15 years. She released her debut album, For Shabbat! On October 2010, a CD designed to infuse Shabbat with joy by providing children educational, age appropriate music that is simultaneously engaging and spiritual for their families.
